Director – Bridget Tomkins

Bridget Tomkins, joint founder and director of MiNC Events, has an Events and PR career that spans more than two decades supported by a Bachelor of Arts (PR) and a keen eye for detail.

Highly regarded for her problem solving capabilities, Bridget’s strength in this area can be traced to her initial exposure to major event planning for her first employer Monash University. A public relations role for the Public Transport Corporation (PTC) followed which saw Bridget manage numerous ministerial and public events and plan and execute advertising, promotional and PR campaigns, including some major crisis management issues. She took on her first management role while at the PTC, which set her up well for the move to sports marketing company Elite Sports Properties (ESP) where she was head of the Public Relations Division. Bridget’s passion for sport and PR was further fostered while at ESP managing AFL and Olympic talent profiles and PR campaigns for a range of sports, government and corporate clients.

Private consulting came next, providing a springboard for MiNC Events when Bridget and Katie first worked together at the Victoria Racing Club in 2002.

Bridget’s natural enthusiasm and energy are reflected in all aspects of her life and sees her involved in various sports clubs and charity groups. These personality traits, along with determination and lateral thinking, help to bring about successful results for all MiNC clients.
